The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have successfully defended the strategic town of Babnousa in West Kordofan state. The military repelled a major attack by the rival Rapid Support Forces (RSF), according to sources. Military sources reported that the RSF used heavy artillery, light weapons, and drones in the assault.
