A raccoon broke into a Virginia liquor store, consumed alcohol, and was later found passed out, according to local reports.
The animal entered the store overnight. It then accessed and drank from several bottles of liquor.
Staff discovered the intoxicated raccoon on the premises the following morning. Authorities were called to the scene.
Animal control officers safely captured the raccoon. The animal is now recovering at a wildlife rehabilitation center.
