Last Supermoon of 2025 to Dazzle Thursday Night

Look to the sky on Thursday night for the final supermoon of the year. The full moon will appear about 14% larger and 30% brighter than an average full moon. This striking effect occurs during a "supermoon," a term for when a full moon coincides with its closest orbital approach to Earth. At this point, called perigee, the moon is nearer to our planet.
