U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested seven individuals in the Minneapolis area last week. Officials described the operation as targeting non-citizens with serious criminal histories.
The arrests are part of broader national enforcement efforts. ICE focuses on individuals who pose a threat to public safety, according to agency statements.
Those arrested had prior convictions for crimes including domestic assault and driving under the influence. All are currently in ICE custody awaiting immigration proceedings.
