BAIC FOTON to challenge Europe's truck market

BAIC FOTON has set out its plan to compete in Europe. Executive Vice President Liu Xuguang presented the strategy on Media Day at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, a major trade fair for commercial vehicles.
The company used the event to showcase its commercial vehicle lineup. IAA TRANSPORTATION is held in Germany and is one of the industry's largest global gatherings.
Liu's remarks signal the Chinese manufacturer's intent to expand beyond its home market. BAIC FOTON builds trucks, vans, and other commercial vehicles.
The company did not disclose specific sales targets or a timeline for its European rollout.
