A Russian drone strike on a car in southern Ukraine has killed a mother and injured her three young children. Regional officials have condemned the attack as a "cynical war crime."
The strike occurred near the port city of Odesa. The family's vehicle was hit by an unmanned aerial vehicle, or drone.
Officials stated the exact location had been targeted three times before. They did not provide further details on the children's conditions.
The attack is part of ongoing Russian assaults on the Odesa region. Ukraine's air force reported destroying 11 of 13 drones launched overnight, primarily in the south.
