Mass Shooting at South African Tavern Kills Nine

Nine people are dead and at least ten wounded after a late-night shooting at a tavern near Johannesburg. The attack is the second mass shooting in South Africa in three weeks.
A group of approximately 12 gunmen opened fire at the KwaNoxolo tavern in Bekkersdal township. The incident occurred just before 1 a.m. on Sunday. Authorities report the suspects arrived in a white minibus and a silver sedan before shooting patrons.
Bekkersdal is located 46 kilometers (28 miles) west of Johannesburg. Police are investigating the motive and searching for the unidentified suspects.
