Oman Warns Against "Foreign Interference" in Yemen After Southern Seizure

The group took control after recent clashes with Yemen's internationally recognized government forces. The STC is backed by the United Arab Emirates. Yemen's government is supported by a Saudi Arabia-led coalition. Oman shares long borders with both Al-Mahra and Hadramaut. In its statement, Oman urged all Yemeni parties to resolve differences through dialogue. It stressed that Yemen's stability and unity must be respected by all, implying concern over foreign influence.
