The statements came in a Wall Street Journal interview published Thursday. Trump was defending his health. The 79-year-old president, the oldest to assume the office, told the newspaper “my health is perfect.” He expressed frustration with ongoing scrutiny of his condition. In the same interview, Trump corrected a previous claim. He said he received a CAT scan in October, not a longer MRI scan as he had stated before. A CAT scan is a faster type of medical imaging.
