French President Emmanuel Macron has warned that the United States under Donald Trump is "turning away" from its allies and "breaking free from international rules."
The warning comes as a separate crisis grows within the NATO alliance. This crisis is over President Trump's ambitions to take control of Greenland. Greenland is a semi-autonomous territory of Denmark.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said he plans to meet Danish officials next week. The meeting will discuss Greenland as tensions escalate over the U.S. takeover threat.
