Vietnam Flooding and Landslides Leave 41 Dead, Transport Disrupted

Severe weather has killed at least 41 people in Vietnam following days of intense rainfall. The national environment ministry confirmed the fatalities and stated that at least five individuals remain missing. The heavy rains triggered widespread flooding and dangerous landslides across the country. Rescue operations are ongoing to locate the missing people. The extreme weather has also disrupted national transport services. Officials have suspended train travel on several key railway lines that connect northern and southern Vietnam. This suspension will continue until conditions are safe.
